We send out a big thank your to Jim Dalton (Railbenders founder/frontman and lead guitarist for Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers) for playing our March 10 showcase. That was our first SRO crowd and Jim wowed the crowd with his music. Our March 24 show (at Roxy on Broadway,554 S. Broadway, Denver, CO) is hosted by Baggs Patrick and will feature songs by new folkie Sarah Monranville and busker and open-mic star Evan VK. Aspiring songwriters can get a chance (via a live drawing during the show) to perform a song as part of the night. Admission is free, tips for the artists are appreciated, and talking during performances is discouraged. Dinner and drinks are available, of course. This series takes place the second and third Tuesday of each month and is presented by local-music myself and Baggs.
