Songwriters at the Speakeasy is a new series that takes place the second and third Tuesday of each month, in the Roxy’s intimate basement “Speakeasy Lounge.” It will showcase the area’s top songwriters performing their compositions in solo fashion for listening audiences. The series is presented by longtime performers/songwriters Marty Jones and Baggs Patrick.
This second installment of the series will be hosted by Baggs Patrick, he’ll be welcoming a pair of local songwriters and they’ll all do songs “in the round.” From 6-7 pm before the show begins, Baggs will host a feedback session at which aspiring songsmiths can play a song and get constructive feedback from the night’s performers.
Admission is free. Dinner is available prior to the show in the Roxy’s main floor bar and dining room. This is a “listening room” show, so talking during performances is discouraged.
